From Case Western Reserve University Athletics
The Case Western Reserve University men's swimming & diving team won 15-of-16 events as part of a 215-78 Seniors' Day victory versus Ohio Northern University at Veale Natatorium.
The Spartans win their seventh dual meet in a row to improve to 7-1. The Polar Bears drop to 7-2.
Prior to the meet, CWRU honored its 12 swimming & diving senior student-athletes including men's team members Caleb Allen (Knoxville, Tenn./Bearden), Andrew Bollinger (Boulder, Colo./Fairview), Eric Haufler (Westminster, Md./Francis Scott Key), Elliott Kerbel (Skokie, Ill./Niles West), Nick Pospisil (Geneva, Ill./Geneva Community), David Wolfson (Austin, Texas/Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy) and Aaron Yeung (Perrysburg, Ohio/St. Johns Jesuit).
Seniors also accounted for four wins on the men's side with Yeung a double-winner in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.27) and the 200 breaststroke (2:14.68). The other two senior wins came from Bollinger in the 100 backstroke (54.04) and Kerbel in the 50 freestyle (22.19).
In addition to Yeung, four other Spartans were double-winners.
Freshman Drew Hamilton (Cincinnati, Ohio/Turpin) was first in the 1,000 free (9:57.18) and 500 free (4:46.04). Junior Aaron Tam (Doral, Fla./Ronald Reagan Doral Senior) took first in the 200 free (1:44.42) and 100 fly (51.69). Freshman Aaron Pang (Troy, Mich./Troy) touched the wall first in the 200 fly (1:55.82) and 200 individual medley (1:58.95).
In diving events, junior Connor Farrell (Bedord Corners, N.Y./Fox Lane) posted winning scores of 273.45 on the 1-meter board and 273.00 on the 3-meter.
