The University of Chicago men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the two-day Chicago Invitational with a team win on Saturday.

The Maroon men totaled 1,250 points to handily top the eight-team field as runner-up University of Wisconsin-Whitewater finished with 669 points.

The men's divers stood out on Saturday with high marks across the three-meter board. Senior Matthew Staab captured the three-meter victory with a pool and school record score of 553.85. That mark helped him garner NCAA provisional qualifying scores on both the one-meter and three-meter boards this weekend. Fellow senior Anthony Restaino was runner-up with 512.50 points as he also posted NCAA provisional marks on both boards. Senior Kevin Steffes and freshman Dean Bouresrecorded NCAA provisional scores with 498.10 and 496.35, respectively.

The UChicago men were victorious in nine events over the course of the day. Freshman Alex Lin was a multiple winner in the 400-yard IM (4:13.93) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:56.79).
