Junior Andrew Wilson crushed his own NCAA Division III record and swam one of the fastest 200 breaststroke times in the world at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
Wilson's national title-winning time of 1:52.97 broke his own record set in the prelim (1:54.68) and marked the 13th fastest SCY (short course yards) 200 Breaststroke time in the world. It is also the 18th-fastest time ever in the event by an American.
The national championship was his third of the 2015 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. He broke the NCAA Division III record in the preliminaries of all three events, only to come back and swim an even faster time in the final.
