Reona Yamaguchi Sets Chicago Record Against Milwaukee-Wisconsin

The University of Chicago men's swimming and diving team earned eight event victories in a dual meet with University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Saturday.

The NCAA Division I Panthers topped the Maroons 160-138 on the men's side.

Freshman Reona Yamaguchi won the men's 100-yard IM in a school-record time of 52.83.

Yamaguchi picked up three victories himself, including the 100-yard IM and a sweep of the breaststrokes (58.29 in 100-yard, 2:08.21 in 200-yard). Freshman teammate Aaron Guo was also a triple winner. Guo topped the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:06.22), 200-yard butterfly (1:55.30) and 500-yard freestyle (4:48.65).
