The New York University men's tennis team finished competition at the College of New Jersey Invitational on Saturday, September 13, in Ewing, NJ.

The Violets closed out their season-openening tournament with a 3-5 record in doubles.

NYU won three of four Flight B matches after going 0-4 in Flight A matches.

At the invitational, consisting of both singles and doubles play, the Violets compiled an overall record of 8-10.

Junior Sidd Thangirala won all three of his matches at the invitational.

Highlights:

- Senior Nicholas Tan and Thangirala won both of their matches as a pair, by the scores of 8-5 and 8-5.

- Freshmen Ian Combemale and Samuel Khoshbin earned a victory by the score of 8-4.
