The No. 1-ranked Emory men's tennis team raised its win streak to 11 matches following a Wednesday afternoon win at home over Kalamazoo College. The Eagles boosted their spring record to 12-2 following a 6-3 decision over the Hornets who slipped to 7-3.

Emory took control of the match early on by sweeping doubles. The Eagles' No. 1 team of Scott Rubinstein and James Spaulding won their fourth straight match with an 8-6 outcome against Branden Metzler and Elan Dantus. Senior Rafe Mosetick and freshman Adrien Bouchet notched a win at No. 2 while David Omsky and Andrew Harrington rolled to a victory at the No. 3 spot.

Using somewhat of a juggled singles lineup, Emory came away with a split of the six matches. A trio of freshmen accounted for the three wins, with Bouchet registering a 6-2, 6-4 triumph over Robert Hudson at No. 2, Harrington a 6-2, 6-1 triumph vs. Dantus at No. 3 and Spaulding a 6-1, 7-5 verdict over Spencer Navarre at No. 6.
