Emory seniors Jonathan Jemison and Adrien Bouchet were victorious in their Thursday matches on the opening day of action at the ITA Cup. This year's ITA Cup is being held at the Rome (GA) Tennis Center.

In singles, the top-seeded Jemison rolled to a 6-1, 6-0, triumph over Ethan Hillis of Washington University. The victory sends Jemison into Friday's semifinals where he will square off against Jake Trondson from Hamline University.

The unseeded doubles team of Jemison and Bouchet upended the No. 2-seeded tandem of Tyler Raclin and Jeremy Yuan of Chicago, 6-3, 6-2, propelling them into the semifinals against the Gustavus Adolphus team of Patrick Whaling and Chase Johnson.
