From Case Western Reserve University Athletics
Competing for the final time as a collegian, Case Western Reserve University senior Harry Weintraub (Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y./Hendrick Hudson) earned his second career All-American finish via a sixth-place performance in the hammer throw at the 2014 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
Weintraub, a four-time national qualifier, placed third in the event last season to earn his first piece of All-American hardware.
Junior Sean Donnelly of the University of Mount Union won the national championship in this year's competition with a stadium-record throw of 216 feet, seven inches (66.01 meters). Junior Tyler Williams of Widener University (Pa.), the top seed, placed runner-up at 213'9" (65.16m). Both marks rank in the all-time top 10 for Division III.
Weintraub's best throw of the afternoon traveled 195'6" (59.59m).
