NYU Honored by USTFCCCA

From NYU Athletics

The NYU men's track & field team, including Dylan Karten, has received All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

A total of 93 men's teams earned the All-Academic distinction as a result of earning a cumulative team grade point average of 3.10 or higher. The NYU men posted an overall GPA of 3.29.

To earn individual USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 and have either competed at the NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championships or finished the regular season ranked in the national top 35 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 25 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org.

Karten competed his collegiate career by setting NYU records for the outdoor 3,000m and as part of the 4x1,500m relay team.
