Joe Previdi Leads Maroons at North Central Dr. Keeler Invitational

Sophomore Joe Previdi led the way with his 800-meter title to highlight the University of Chicago track and field teams on the final day of the North Central College Dr. Keeler Invitational.

Previdi ran a season-best outdoor time of 1:52.00 to win the 800-meter field Friday.

Alexander Scott (sixth, shot put) and Cristen Bublitz (ninth, javelin) rounded out the Maroons' Top 10 finishes Friday.

Sophomore Alexander Scott led the way in the discus. He took fourth with a mark of 46.37 meters. Senior pole vaulter Nathan Downey took sixth overall with top height of 4.61 meters.
