Emory Places Fourth at Tiger Indoor Invitational

The Emory University men's track & field team put forth a strong effort at the Tiger Indoor Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

For the men’s team, sophomore Benjamin Rogin was third in the 55m hurdles (8.01) and seventh in the 400m Dash (53.68). Classmate Robert Wilhelm III finished fourth in the 2:03.31 in the 800m Run, followed by junior Brandon Cromer in fifth at 2:04.98. Freshman Bennett Shaw placed sixth in the one mile with a time of 4:40.03 and junior Kyle Veator was 10th in the 200m Dash at 23.68.

Veator added a second place showing in the long jump at 6.45m. Also turning in second place finishes in field events was senior Spencer Koh in the pole vault (4.29m) and sophomore Charlie Hu in the triple jump (12.72m). Hu also placed sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.75m. In the weight throw, senior Jacob Seigel finished fifth with a distance of 12.72m and freshman Zachary Lembersky was sixth in the weight throw at 13.48m.
