Spartans Place Fourth at Joe Banks Invitational

The Case Western Reserve University men's track and field team turned in strong performances at the Joe Banks Invitational, hosted by Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio on Saturday.

The Spartan men were led by a first-place finish by sophomore Michael Hradesky in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:00.47. Senior Andrew Ibibo added a second-place finish in the 500-meter run with a time of 1:07.33. Hradesky and Ibibo also teamed with senior Grant Mlack and sophomore Jonathan Haling in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:26.33.

Other top finishers for the Spartan men included senior Nicholas Knorz in the 800-meter run (second, 2:00.90), senior Zak Hurd in the long jump (third, 6.61m), Mlack in the 60-meter hurdles (fourth, 8.69), sophomore David Prigg in the pole vault (tied for fourth, 3.81m), freshman Jordan Butler in the high jump (fourth, 1.86m), freshman Thomas Patton in the 800-meter run (fourth, 2:02.44) and junior Tyler Bushman in the weight throw (fifth, 15.17m).
