Spartans Compete at Mount Union Tune Up

Highlighting the Spartan performances on Saturday, senior Grant Mlack finished tied for first in the 60-meter hurdles as the Case Western Reserve University men's track and field team finished competition at the Mount Union Tune Up in Alliance, Ohio.

Finishing tied for first in the event, Mlack crossed the finish line with a time of 8.10.

Also with strong performances for the Spartan men, freshmen Yoshmar Pinal-Alfaro finished second in the 3,000-meter run (9:06.41) and sophomore Jonathan Haling finished second in the 500-meter run with a time of 1:07.93.

Sophomore Dominic Oddo tied for third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.20 and placed third in the long jump with a mark of 6.75 meters, while freshman Kai Fletcher finished third in the high jump with a mark of 1.91 meters.
