UChicago Finishes Fourth at Aurora Grand Prix

The University of Chicago men's indoor track & field team placed fourth overall at the Aurora University Grand Prix on Friday.

At the Gately Indoor Track & Field facility, the Maroons scored 64 points to place fourth out of 16 teams in attendance. Loras College won the team title with 103 points.

UChicago took runner-up in three different events. Emile Sow crossed the finish line in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:56.30. Thrower Simon Dixon went over 16 meters once again with a shot put toss of 16.14 meters. The men's 4x400-meter relay team closed out the day with a runner-up showing of 3:22.01. The relay included Myles Xavier, Miles Gardner, Isaac Dienstag and Andrew Ray.
