Bears Place Second at SIUE John Flamer Invitational

The Washington University in St. Louis men's cross country team placed four runners in the top-11 to finish second at the John Flamer Invite hosted by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Saturday morning. 

Junior Ryan Becker won his second individual title in as many meets to lead the Bears to a runner-up team finish. Host SIUE won the men's team title with 30 points, while WashU was second with 35. Overall, the WashU men had 20 individuals run career-best 8K times, while the WashU women had 11 runners clock career-best 6Ks.
