UChicago Places Fourth at NCAA Midwest Regional

In the last meet before NCAA nationals, the University of Chicago cross country teams put together standout performances at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Saturday.

UChicago's men took fourth with 113 points at the 32-team meet. North Central College won with 41 points on the 8K course.

All told, the Maroons had four All-Region honorees. John Hood led the way once more with a 10th-place showing in 25:21.5. Joe Lemna was next across the line in 16th, posting a time of 25:27.3. Cy Chittenden was 20th (25:33.5) and Luke Collins snagged 31st (25:43.5).
