After receiving its first bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament for the first time since 2009, the New York University women's basketball team was featured in the Sports Section of the Friday Print Edition of The New York Times on Friday, March 7.

"This selection represents the culmination of a lot of hard work by our players," said second-year NYU Head Coach Lauren Hall-Gregory. "They have bought into what the coaching staff has been teaching and have executed on the court and in their time together as teammates. It is a close-knit team that deserves the opportunity to keep playing."
