The New York University women's basketball team has been selected for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament, it was announced on Monday, February 26.

NYU (15-10) returns to the postseason for the fifth-consecutive season under sixth-year Head Coach Lauren Hall-Gregory. The Violets will face Marywood University (15-12) in the opening round Wednesday evening in Scranton, PA. Last season, NYU defeated the Pacers, 74-49, in an ECAC first round game in Brooklyn.

The 15-team tournament (see bracket) will begin on Wednesday at seven different sites, then move to Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, PA for the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship, which will be played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
