Erin Drolet Tied For First;  Washington University Six Shots Off Lead at Rhodes

The Washington University in St. Louis women's golf team finished round one of the Rhodes Classic six strokes off the lead of the host and reigning national champions.

WashU shot a collective score of 308 which was behind only Rhodes (302). The Bears were ahead of Transylvania University (328), Franklin College (348) and Millsaps College (350).

Leading the way for the Bears was Erin Drolet's two-over-74 which was tied for the lead with Meredith Moir of Transylvania and a pair of Lynx from Rhodes in Mackenzie Cohen and Emily Salamy. Also shooting below 80 for the Bears were Chloe DiPetrillo (76) and Samantha Haubenstock (78). Freshman Angelica Harris also shot below 80, with a seven-over-79 individually.
