New York University's 19th-ranked women's golf team won the Vassar College Classic, which was held at the Casperkill Golf Club in Poughkeepsie, NY, on Sunday, April 2.

On Saturday, the Violets shot 290 to take the Vassar Invitational, which was held as a separate event. 

On Sunday, NYU shot 306 to best a five-team field.

Tiya Chowdary tied for the individual title by carding a one-over par 73. Olivia Strigh of Hamilton College also shot 73.

Irene Park tied for third with a 74, while Madison Phung (75) finished fifth.

Srishti Dhurandhar (84) was NYU's fourth scorer, taking 22nd.
