The Washington University in St. Louis women's golf team finished second at the 2023 NCAA Division III Championships, carding a team score of 938. It is the highest finish in program history for the Bears. George Fox won the title with a three-round score of 933.
Senior Annie Mascot closed her WashU career out in a big way, winning the individual national title, the first in program history. Mascot shot the tournament-low on the final day, carding a 68 en route to a 224 total score. Her 68 mark sets a new NCAA Championships record.
The Bears finished the third and final round with a 299, shooting the low score of the day and the entire championships.
Sophomore Sydney Kuo finished tied for second overall, shooting a 75 on the final day for an overall score of 227.
First-year Athena Nguyen finished tied for 42nd, shooting an 81 in the final round to finish with a 244.
Sophomore McKensey Kaseta finished tied for 52nd, shooting a 75 on Friday for a 247 overall.
Junior Caraline Oakley finished tied for 75th with an 85 on the final day and a 255 overall.
