The No. 2 Washington University in St. Louis golf team sits tied for second place after day one of the Lynn Schweizer Invitational hosted by Denison University.
The competition is held at the Denison Golf Course which spans 6,559 yards.
The Bears posted a 306 on day one of competition. First-year Reagan Robinson shot par with a 73 to lead the Bears while junior Sydney Kuo shot a 75.
Sophomore Tiffany Chan finished the day with a 78 and sophomore Athena Nguyen shot an 80. Senior Caraline Oakley shot a first-round score of 91 to round out the Bears.
Emory leads the field with a 291.
