The second-ranked Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team earned a 1-1 draw with Clarkson University in a neutral site non-conference match on Sunday afternoon at McGeehan Field in Dallas, Pennsylvania.

Both teams moved to 3-0-1 after the draw. With the tie, CWRU extended its regular season non-conference unbeaten streak to 37 matches.

After neither team was able to claim an advantage for most of the first half, Clarkson struck first in the 37th minute, scoring on a goal by Callie Abel.

After the halftime break, sophomore forward Maggie Farra found an equalizer for CWRU in the 59th minute. Sophomore forward Andrea Silva received the ball at the top of the box and sent a high pass into Farra. She shot the ball low and past the Clarkson goalkeeper to tie the score at one. It was her second goal of the season and the seventh of her career.

Neither team could break the deadlock in the final 30 minutes of the match, resulting in the level scoreline. Case Western Reserve earned a corner kick in the 84th minute, but a shot sailed left of the goal. With two minutes remaining, a shot by senior midfielder Helina VanBibber was saved to end the team's final scoring opportunity of the match.

CWRU outshot Clarkson 10-6, but each side tallied six shots on goal. Senior goalkeeper Maggie Storti (3-0-1) made five saves in the contest. Both VanBibber and sophomore midfielder Jamie Goldfarb recorded a team-high three shots.
