University of Chicago's women's soccer program continued its undefeated start to the 2023 campaign with a 1-1 draw at Hanover College on Wednesday afternoon.
The Maroons conceded early on in the match and then equalized on a penalty goal from Livia Sabloff in the 30th minute. UChicago continued to push for the winner as the first half progressed and through the second half as well, finishing with 16 shots, six on target.
Hanover managed five shots, three on target, all three of which came in the opening frame. Tahra Minowada, Mary Stuart Kerrigan, Hannah Rittenhouse and Maggie Jameson each managed one shot on target. Jameson had a team-high three total shots in the match.
