New York University's women's swimming & diving team completed the NYU Invitational on Saturday, February 6, at the Palladium Athletic Facility (PAF) in Manhattan. There was no team scoring for this competition.

Sophomore Brienne Renfurm won the 50-yard freestyle (25.38), placed third in the 100-yard backstroke (59.92) and was a member of the victorious 400-yard freestyle relay team (3:46.47) along with classmate Isabelle Corgel and freshmen Alex McGurk and Haley Wen. Renfurm also competed on the runner-up 200-yard medley relay squad (1:52.14), leading off ahead of McGurk, junior Emily Molinelli, and freshman Elle Tucker.

HIGHLIGHTS:

- Wen triumphed in the 500-yard freestyle (5:03.04), took second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.57), finished fourth in the 1,650-yard freestyle (17:27.66), and was a member of the second-place 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:40.29) along with Renfurm, McGurk and junior Maia Brearton.

- Junior diver Ashlie Pankonin was victorious in both the one-meter (271.00) and three-meter (250.10) competitions.

"This was a great chance for the divers to compete one last time before the UAA's," said Diving Coach Scott Donie. "We are in great shape as we head into the conference championships."
