From Case Western Reserve University Athletics
The Case Western Reserve University women's swimming and diving team defeated Ohio Northern University 243-54 and defeated NCAA Division II program Hillsdale College 150-141 in the Veale Natatorium on Saturday.
Prior to the start of the meet, the swimming and diving team recognized its two graduating women's members – Emily Boluda and Selena Mufti for their dedication the program.
The wins raised the Spartan men's record to 7-2 on the season.
The CWRU women picked up first-place finishes in four of the 16 events during the meet, including a sweep of the diving events. Junior Brooke Hortness finished first in the one-meter dive with a score of 202.55, while sophomore Vera Bostwick won the three-meter dive with a score of 209.95.
Sophomore Casey Crowley won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:00.73, while the 400-yard freestyle relay team of junior Inez Moore, sophomore Lauren Homack, freshman Rhiannon Reese and junior Jennifer Eurich won the event with a time of 3:42.10.
