The Washington University in St. Louis women's swimming and diving program scored a win over Saint Louis University in the season-opening meet during Pink Out Night.

The WashU women utilized a first-place finish in the final event to score a four-point win, 114-110, over the Billikens.

Senior Lauren Sapp, junior Mollie Seidner and freshman Grace Carey earned individual first place finishes and were a part of the winning relay team to close out the meet. Sapp, Seidner and Carey teamed up with sophomore Sabrina Baxamusa in the race that proved to be the difference.

Carey, Sapp, Baxamusa and Seidner won the 200 freestyle relay at the conclusion of the meet with a time of 1:36.93 to help WashU claim the 114-110 win.

Seidner won the 200 freestyle (1:56.79) as Carey won the 50 freestyle (24.46) and Sapp claimed first in the 100 butterfly (58.21).

Additional first place finishes from the Bears women included sophomore Elle Pollitt (53.36) in the 100 freestyle and junior Stephanie Li in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.61). Sophomore Elizabeth Davidson won the one-meter dive (202.05).
