The No. 11-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team earned an 8-1 win over No. 15 University of Chicago to finish third at the 2015 University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship for the second year in a row and the fourth time in the last five years.
In the fourth meeting of the season between WashU and Chicago, the Bears swept doubles to propel them to their third win in a row over the Maroons. With the win, WashU finished the regular season 18-5 overall, while Chicago dropped to 12-11. The Bears will await a bid to the NCAA Division III Championship, which will be announced Monday, May 4, on NCAA.com.
