The Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team swept the singles and doubles championship Monday at the 2016 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Regional held at Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Senior Rebecca Ho ousted No. 9 seed Majorie Antohi of the University of Chicago 6-4, 6-3 in the final to claim her second ITA Regional Singles Championship. Ho also won the 2014 ITA Central Regional Championship title.

"I played very well this week and moved very well. I played smart and played my game and it paid off," said Ho, who was the top seed in singles and doubles.

In doubles, Ho and senior Kaylan Griffith won the regional title with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over No. 9 seed Estefania Navarro and Antohi of Chicago. The Central Regional Doubles title for Ho was her second-straight, teaming with Aly Coran for the championship in 2015.

"Kaylan is an excellent doubles player, and really stepped it up this week," added Ho.

By winning the Regional titles, Griffith and Ho advance to the 2016 ITA Oracle Cup on Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 13-16, at Surprise Tennis & Racquet Club in Surprise, Ariz.

With the two victories Monday, Ho moved into sole possession of third place on the all-time WashU wins list with 147. She is also the first two-time ITA Central Region singles and doubles champion in school history.

The ITA Oracle Cup is comprised of eight regional champions (and/or at-large selections) for both singles and doubles from NCAA Divisions II and III, NAIA and Junior/Community Colleges. The singles and doubles champions at each divisional level then compete to become the overall "Super Bowl" champions.
