Bears Opens Spring Break With Win at Chapman

The No. 13-ranked Washington University in St. Louis women's tennis team opened its 2018 Spring Break Trip with a 7-2 win at Chapman University Sunday in Orange, Calif.

WashU improved to 4-2 with the victory, while Chapman lost its fifth-straight match and fell to 1-5.

Senior Grace Deering picked up a pair of wins to move into a tie for 11th all-time in school history with 120. Deering is just two victories shy of cracking the top-10.
