Lily Corsaro of NYU Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

Senior captain Lily Corsaro of the New York University women's cross country and track and field teams earned Division III College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 3 honors, it was announced on Thursday, May 26. 

A 2013 All-American in cross country, Corsaro qualified as an individual for this year's Division III NCAA Cross Country Championship with a 29th-place finish at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional. The York, PA, native also earned All-Atlantic Region honors for the third time in her career. 

Corsaro's accolades were not confined to athletics, as she also earned many honors for her work in the classroom. She is a nine-time University Athletic Association (UAA) All-Academic honoree and was also named to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team as a sophomore. In addition, she has been named to NYU's Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Honor Roll in all seven semesters as a Violet. Most recently, she earned the University's Student-Athlete Academic Achievement Award.
