Emory Competes at Gregory Invitational

The Emory University Track and Field program sent three student-athletes to Naperville, IL to compete in the Gregory Invitational at North Central College on Wednesday and Thursday.

Senior Benjamin Rogin finished third in both the prelims and finals of the 110m Hurdles on Thursday, posting identical times of 14.97 in both races. In the pole vault, sophomore Isabel Saridakis registered a height of 3.58m to place fifth in the event.

Sophomore Gabrielle Davis was in action on both days for the Eagles, competing in the first women's heptathlon since 2013. On Wednesday, she turned in marks of 17.01 in the 100m Hurdles, 1.35m in the high jump, 7.53m in the shot put and 28.02 in the 200m Dash before recording marks of 4.82m in the long jump, 19.55m in the javelin, and 2:59.55 in the 800m Run on Thursday. Davis finished with a two-day total of 3,214 points, finishing 15th overall.
