22 UAA Women Qualify for NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships

22 UAA women qualified for the 2016 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships, spanning seven individual events and two relays. The championship meet is Friday and Saturday in Grinnell, IA.

The UAA Women's Most Outstanding Performer in running events, Daisy Ogede of Washington University, is competing in a pair of individual events and running on two relay squads. She is the third seed in the 200-meter dash and seeded fifth in the 60-meter dash. Ogede will run the third leg of the Bears' 1,600-meter relay and second leg on the Distance Medley Relay.

Michelle Dobbs of University of Chicago is seeded fourth in the 800-meter run and teammate Khia Kurtenbach is seeded fourth in the 5,000 meters and 14th in the 3,000 meters.

Emory University and Chicago join the Bears in the 1,600-meter relay and the Maroons also join the Bears in the Distance Medley Relay.
