Emory Wins Seven Events at Sewanee Indoor Invitational

The Emory University Women's Track and Field team had seven event victories on Friday afternoon at the Sewanee Indoor Invitational in Murfreesboro, TN. The Eagles registered 132 total team points to finish second out of five schools at the meet.

In the field events, Emory took home the top spot in four of the six events. Freshman Gabrielle Davis in the long jump with a personal-best mark of 5.24m; freshman Nyla Lindo in the triple jump (11.16), freshman Isabel Saridakis in the pole vault (3.22m) and sophomore Jordan Small in the high jump (1.50m).

The Eagles continued things in the track events, claiming two individual event victories. Sophomore Dilys Osei in the 55m Hurdles (8.84) and freshman Nicole Steiner in the 800m Run (2:32.37). The 4x800m Relay closed out the meet with Emory's seventh event win as the group of Steiner, sophomore Elizabeth Miller, freshman Isabella Robbins and freshman Kristina Koh finished in a time of 10:50.08.
