Emory Wins Four Events at Sewanee Indoor Invitational

Sophomore Gabrielle Davis won a pair of events to lead the Emory University Track and Field programs on Saturday at the Sewanee Indoor Invitational in Sewanee, TN.

Davis posted a mark of 4.76m to earn top honors in the long jump before adding a time of 9.00 to win the 55m Hurdles. Davis also competed in the high jump, taking fourth at 1.45m. Adding event wins for the Eagles on the afternoon were junior Jordan Small in the high jump (1.57m) and freshman Andi Breitowich in the pole vault (3.20m).

Other female performers for Emory at the meet included junior Dani Bland placing third in the 55m Dash (7.31 in prelims), sophomore Isabel Saridakis (2nd, 3.05m) and freshman Erin Yuder (3rd, 2.90m) in the pole vault, sophomore Nyla Lindo in the high jump (3rd, 1.50m) and freshman Ana Sofia Beltran in the 55m Hurdles (2nd, 9.04).
