Eagles Close Competition at South Carolina Invitational

The Emory University indoor track & field team closed out the South Carolina Invitational in Columbia, SC on Saturday with another strong set of performances throughout the day.

Junior Libby Ranocha had one of the strongest days of her Eagles career as she recorded a time of 2:14.15 in the 800m run which is the fifth fastest time in program history. Ranocha's time also has her in nationals contention as it stands as the fifth fastest time in Division III this season according to TFRRS. 

Also competing on the track for the women, sophomore Audrey Johnson notched the best day in the 200m for an Eagle this season as she crossed the finish line in a time of 25.79 seconds. 

Sophomore Paige Thielke had a solid day in the high jump for the women's team as she reached a height of 1.50m to place seventh at the meet.
