UChicago Wins Windy City Rumble

The University of Chicago indoor track & field teams posted dominant results on Saturday to claim both team titles at the Windy City Rumble inside the Henry Crown Field House. The women placed first of 10 teams with 218 points.

UChicago's women won 10 events, with Molly Laumakis claiming victory in the weight throw (15.71 meters) and shot put (13.00 meters). Gabriela Meschino put up a national top-25 time while winning the 60 meters (7.78). The distance medley relay set a new facility record with a time of 11:55.49 that currently ranks second in the nation.
