Emory Posts Second Saturday Win -- Tops Randolph-Macon In Three

The No. 4-ranked Emory volleyball team closed out a 3-0 weekend at Washington and Lee on Saturday with a sweep of Randolph-Macon. The Eagles boosted their record to 15-2 following a 3-0 verdict (25-22, 25-17, 25-14) over the Yellow Jackets who slipped to 13-3.

Emory ended the match hitting .341 (40-11--85) compared to the R-MC's' .084 (29-19--119).  Junior Jessica Holler turned in a huge performance for the Eagles, leading all players with 13 kills while registering a blistering .800 hitting percentage (13-1--15). Holler also contributed three block assists. Junior Kathryn Trinka was the team's other player to finishing in double digits with for 10 terminations. Juniors Sheridan Rice and Sarah Maher paced the Eagles' defensive effort with 17 and 14 digs, respectively.  Senior setter Sydney Miles finished with 38 assists and four digs.
