Washington Finishes Second At Gabby Reuveni Early Bird

Eight members of the Washington University in St. Louis women's cross country team finished in the top-20 as the Bears finished second in the team standings at the Gabby Reuveni Early Bird to start the season Saturday at Forest Park. 

Junior Ellen Toennies and sophomore Sarah Curci ran together throughout the 4K race to finish second and third overall with an identical finish time of 14:40. Six other WUSTL runners also finished in the top-20 as Washington U. scored 48 points to finish second behind NCAA Division I Southeast Missouri State University in the team standings. SEMO scored 37 points to win the women's team title.
