Six UAA Women's Cross Country Teams Nationally Ranked

Six UAA women's cross country teams are nationally ranked and seven are regionally ranked in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III Preseason Poll.

Defending UAA champion University of Chicago (4th) and NYU (9th) are each ranked in the top-10 nationally. The Maroons are the top-ranked squad in the Midwest Region with Association rival Washington University (ranked 11th nationally) second in the region. The Violets are ranked second in the Atlantic Region.

Brandeis University (28th), Emory University (31st) and Case Western Reserve University (34th) are also ranked nationally. The Judges are ranked fifth in the New England Region, the Eagles are the top-ranked squad in the South/Southeast Region, and the Spartans rank sixth in the Great Lakes Region. 

Carnegie Mellon University is ranked eighth in the Mideast region.
