32 schools and 56 individuals qualified for the 2014 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships for the men's and women's races. Three UAA men's and women's teams advanced to the national meet.
On the women's side, UAA champion Washington University and Emory University automatically qualified for the national championship with University of Chicago receiving an at-large bid. Five more runners from the UAA automatically qualified indivdually: Catherine Knox (University of Rochester), Sarah Czuprynski (NYU), Kelsey Aamoth (Casre Western Reserve University), Elizabeth Snyder (Carnegie Mellon University), and Kelsey Whitaker (Brandeis University).
On the men's side, Carnegie Mellon and Emory automatically qualified as teams with UAA champion Washington University receiving an at-large berth. Sebastian Oja (NYU) and Michael Frasco (Chicago) automatically qualified as indivduals for the national championship meet.
Wilmington College (Ohio) and the Warren County
Convention and Visitor’s Bureau are co-hosting the
championships, November 22, at the Golf Center at King’s
Island in Mason, Ohio. The men’s race will begin at 11
a.m. Eastern time followed by the women’s race at 12:30 p.m.
