Chicago Finishes As Runner-Up At Gil Dodds Invitational

The University of Chicago women's cross country team finished in second place at the Wheaton College Gil Dodds Invitational on Saturday.

A total of 13 women's teams ran the 6K  at St. James Farm. Washington University-St. Louis won the event.

UChicago's women placed second with 57 points. Sophomore Khia Kurtenbach was the top finisher once again for the Maroons as she finished fifth in a time of 22:26. The senior tandem of Brianna Hickey (22:58) and Catherine Young (23:05) placed eighth and tenth, respectively. Junior Madeleine Horvath finished 13th in 23:19.
