Four UAA women's teams, including Association champion Washington, received a bid to the NCAA Division III Women’s Cross Country Championships. Emory and the Bears earned automatic bids with Chicago and Carnegie Mellon all receiving at-large selections. Sabrina Hermann and Hannah Haley of NYU, Rachel Bargabos of Rochester, and Emily Bryson of Brandeis will compete as individuals at the NCAA championship… Bryson earned her third All-New England honor with her ninth-place finish at the NCAA Division III New England Regional, covering the six-kilometer course in 21:12.8… Aparna Alavilli (Carnegie Mellon) placed eighth in a six-kilometer time of 22:16.6 to lead the Tartans to a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional… Danielle Kulpins (CWRU) garnered All-Region honors with her 17th-place finish in the 247-runner field at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional in a six-kilometer time of 22:57.2… Paige Lawler (Washington) ran a personal-best of 20:46.4 to place second to Khia Kurtenbach at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional as the Bears finished second to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA championship.
