Bryant downs Brandeis, 5-2, on Friday
CUMBERLAND, R.I. – The Bryant University men's tennis team defeated Brandeis 5-2 on Thursday afternoon at Fore Court in Cumberland.
Bryant has now won three-straight matches. The Judges are the eighth-ranked team in Division III.

How It Happened
- The Bulldogs rallied to win the doubles point on Friday, picking up wins at No. 2 and No. 3.
- After falling at No. 1, Andrew Corrado (East Islip, N.Y.) and Nick Lorenz (Colorado Springs, Colo.) won 6-2 at No. 3.
- Grant Pertile (Edgartown, Mass.) and Alexander Schou (Holte, Denmark) clinched the point with a 6-2 win at No. 2.
- Guido Argentini (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Schou won in straight-sets at No. 1 and No. 3 to make it 3-1.
- Lorenz then clinched the match with a 6-1, 7-6 victory at No. 5. Pertile closed the match with a three-set victory at No. 6.
