Women's Volleyball Finishes 3-1 at the Rose-Hulman Tournament, Capping Off 4-1 Week

Terre Haute, Ind. - The Scarlet Hawks women's volleyball team won three of four matches at the Rose-Hulman Tournament, capping off one of the most successful weeks for the program in recent history, as they compiled a 4-1 record overall.

After falling in the opening match Friday afternoon 3-0 to No. 23-ranked Wash U, the Hawks rebounded Friday night with a 3-1 victory against Blackburn.

On the second day of the tournament, the Hawks continued their winning ways with 3-1 match victories over Concordia Chicago and host Rose-Hulman, respectively.

Jessica Weaver and Maria Fernanda Alcantara were both named to the All-Tournament team.

Including the Hawks conference victory over Benedictine on Wednesday night, the team finished off a successful week of competition with four wins against just one loss, with the lone defeat against a nationally ranked opponent in Wash U.
