Linh Nguyen is in his second season as the Emory University women’s and men’s cross country and track & field teams. He led the Eagles’ women’s cross country team to a regional title and garnered South/Southeast Region Coach of the Year honors in 2019.

Andrew Whitaker is a senior captain for both the football and track & field programs at Washington University. He is a pre-med student pursuing a biomedical engineering degree and serves as co-Community Outreach Coordinator for WashU’s Black Letterwinning Athlete Coalition (BLAC). Whitaker earned the 2021 Fritz Pollard Trophy, which honors a college football player who has exemplified courage, community values, and exceptional performance on the field.
Fred Dauphin graduated with a degree in astrophysics from Carnegie Mellon University in 2020. The outdoor track and field program’s record-holder in the triple jump, he earned UAA All-Association honors three times, including a runner-up finish in the triple jump in the 2020 UAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, the last meet he competed in before COVID-19 ended the remainder of his senior season.
Daelen Morris is a 2020 Washington University graduate who was a walk-on thrower on the track and field team after competing in football, wrestling, and swimming in high school. A John B. Ervin Scholarship recipient, the African-American studies major is now an admissions counselor at WashU.
Abayomi Awoyomi is a sophomore jumper in the Washington University’s track and field program. The chemistry major competed in the indoor season as a freshman before the outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
