Baseball
Logan Andreyko — Case Western Reserve University — Pittsburgh, PA (North Allegheny Senior)
Sophomore outfielder Logan Andreyko batted .545 (6-for-11) with six runs scored and three runs batted in as Case Western Reserve University finished the week 4-0. He capped the week just a triple shy of hitting for the cycle, going 3-for-4 with four runs scored. For the week, Andreyko posted a .706 on-base percentage and 1.091 slugging percentage.
Evan Faxon — Case Western Reserve University — Cleveland Heights, OH (Hawken School)
Graduate student Evan Faxon yielded one unearned run in six innings to lead Case Western Reserve University to a 15-8 victory over Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday. He gave up only three hits, walked three, and struck out eight.
Women’s Golf
Tiya Chowdary — NYU — Belle Mead, NJ (Montgomery)
NYU first-year golfer Tiya Chowdary climbed nine spots on the second day to earn individual medalist honors and lead the Violets to an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championship. She tied the program’s lowest single-round score with a 69 in the second and final round as NYU came from behind to capture the team title.
Softball
Erin Hunt — Brandeis University — Wake Forest, NC (Franklin Academy)
First-year centerfielder Erin Hunt batted .467 (7-for-15) with seven runs scored and four runs batted in during a 3-2 week for Brandeis University. She doubled three times and stole seven bases, recording a hit in all four full games (the Judges completed one game that was in the fifth inning).
Ragini Kannan — Brandeis University — Westford, MA (Westford Academy)
First-year pitcher Ragini Kannan of Brandeis University posted a 2-0 record and 1.50 earned run average in three appearances. She tossed a complete-game two-hitter without a walk and matching a career-high 12 strikeouts in a 2-1 win over Worcester Polytechnic Institute on Wednesday. Kannan tossed four innings of one-hit shutout relief with seven strikeouts in an 8-0 victory over Lesley University.
Women’s Outdoor Track & Field
Emma Kelley — Washington University — St. Louis, MO (Webster Groves)
Washington University junior Emma Kelley captured the 1,500-meter run and ran on the Bears’ victorious 1,600-meter relay at the Millikin University Invitational. Her time of 4:29.91 ranks fourth in NCAA Division III this season. The relay squad posted a time of 3:51.86, which ranks 10th nationally.
Miku Okada — Washington University — River Edge, NJ (River Dell Regional)
Washington University graduate student Miku Okada won the high jump at the Millikin University Invitational. Her mark of 1.65 meters is tied for 17th in NCAA Division III this season.
Men’s Outdoor Track & Field
Will Houser — Washington University — Glenview, IL (Glenbrook South)
Washington University junior Will Houser finished first in the 800-meter run the Millikin University Invitational. His time of 1:50.77 ranks ninth in NCAA Division III this season.
Jalen Dural — Washington University — Atlanta, GA (Westminster School)
Washington University freshman Jalen Dural won the high jump and added top-four finishes in the long jump and triple jump at the Millikin University Invitational. He took first in the high jump with a mark of 1.95 meters, placed second in the triple jump (13.20 meters), and fourth in the long jump (6.37 meters).
