Women’s Basketball

Katie Titus  —  University of Rochester  —  Penfield, NY (Our Lady of Mercy)

University of Rochester graduate student forward Katie Titus scored 29 points in just 16 minutes of play as the Yellowjackets defeated William Smith College, 92-48, on Tuesday. She shot 66.7 percent from the floor (12-for-18) and 50.0 percent from three-point range (3-of-6). Titus added four rebounds, three steals, two assists, and a block.

Men’s Basketball

Justin Allen  —  Carnegie Mellon University  —  Mount Kisco, NY (Fox Lane)

Freshman guard Justin Allen scored 24 points as Carnegie Mellon University moved to 4-0 with an 87-68 victory at Oberlin College on Tuesday. He connected on nine of 12 field goals and made all six of his free throw attempts, while adding a season-best three steals.
