UAA Salutes Athletic Trainers as National Athletic Training Month Comes to a Close

UAA Salutes Athletic Trainers as National Athletic Training Month Comes to a Close
In honor of National Athletic Training  Month, the University Athletic Association would like to recognize special members of its athletics family, its Athletic Trainers.

During March, athletic trainers across the country were recognized for their commitment to helping people prevent injuries, stay healthy and active, and most recently, leading the way with establishing COVD-19 protocols. Athletic trainers are healthcare providers. Highly educated and dedicated to the job at hand, athletic trainers can be found in high schools and colleges, corporations, professional sports, the military, performing arts and clinics, hospitals and physician offices.

Athletic Trainers impact healthcare through action. Athletic trainers are providing healthcare everywhere. The UAA would like to salute our athletic trainers, doctors, and athletic training students for their role in providing quality health care for our student-athletes and staff everyday. Each and every one of you are appreciated and applauded as we conclude the celebration of National Athletic Training Month.
