Jack Nolan Selected to CoSIDA Academic All-America Team

Washington University in St. Louis senior guard Jack Nolan was named to the 2020-21 NCAA Division III Academic All-America Men's Basketball Second Team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).   

Nolan is the seventh Academic All-American in men's basketball program history, and first since 2015. 

In the 2019-20 season, he was named D3hoops.com and NABC Third Team All-America teams and First Team All-Region by both organizations. He was also the D3hoops.com Central Region and UAA Player of the Year.   

He has earned NABC Second-Team and D3hoops.com All-Central Region honors and is a two-time First Team All-UAA and one-time honorable mention selection.   

Nolan was named the UAA Rookie of the Year and D3hoops.com Central Region Freshman of the Year for his performance during the 2017-18 season.  

He ranks first in school history in free-throw percentage (.915), third in three-pointers made (215) and 17th in scoring (1,204). Nolan ranked third in all NCAA Divisions in active FT% (91.9, 125-136) during the 2019-20 season.   

A three-time Academic All-UAA and two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, Nolan graduated with a 3.60 grade point average with degrees in finance and political science.   

To be eligible for nomination to the Academic All-America Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic standing with at least a 3.30 cumulative GPA, and must be a starter or an important reserve.
